These elements are readily apparent in the band’s debut track\, “Masks.” Having initially gained momentum via Spotify\, the song has helped spur the band forward in their musical pursuits. \nThe group’s first year as a full band was widely successful. From charting on Spotify’s US and Canada Viral 50 Playlists\, performing at the NAMM shows in both Nashville and Anaheim\, and selling out shows in Atlanta\, Birmingham\, Huntsville\, Nashville\, Auburn and more\, the band has had an exhilarating start. \nOriginally an acoustic duo\, Alec and Joseph started turning heads in local venues with clean vocals and expert guitar work. DESCRIPTION:In a career chock full of highlights\, The Wood Brothers hold a special place in their hearts for their performances at Levon Helm’s legendary Midnight Ramble. As repeat special guests at Helm’s famed Woodstock barn\, the trio—guitarist Oliver Wood\, bassist Chris Wood\, and drummer Jano Rix— developed a cherished friendship with the late icon that transcended simple musical collaboration and left an indelible mark on their songs and their lives. That shared history made it all the more emo- tional when The Wood Brothers returned to the barn on August 19\, 2016\, for their first Ramble since Helm’s passing. Captured pristinely on their new album\, ‘Live At The Barn\,’ the band’s sold-out performance that night spanned their career and showcased the kind of singularly eclectic and electrifying performance style that’s earned them devoted legions of fans around the world. \n“We’re huge fans of Levon’s and count him as a big influence\,” says Oliver\, who named his son for Helm. “Since we actually got to know him\, his influence was more than musical—it was personal. He was one of those unique and powerful personalities\, and I’ll always remember how gracious he was. We also got to know his daughter Amy quite well and have had great tours and collaborations with her. She’s a beautiful soul just like her dad\, and we have fond memories of playing with both of them in that barn.” \nLive At The Barn follows 2015’s critically acclaimed Paradise\, which the band recorded at Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye studio in their adopted hometown of Nashville\, TN. Hailed by Rolling Stone for songwriting “that hits both the heart and head” and praised by American Songwriter for its “spry\, soulful folk-rock\,” the album debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and launched The Wood Brothers into the most successful year of their career\, with performances everywhere from Bonnaroo to Red Rocks to Carnegie Hall. \nNPR’s World Cafe raved that “there is so much warmth\, soul and musicianship at a Wood Brothers show\, it’s no surprise that the band’s audience keeps growing\,” and Live At The Barn is no exception. Over the course of the album’s nine tracks\, the band careens from soul to folk to funk to blues to rock\, mixing acoustic and electric instruments and effortlessly blending eras and regions of American music. While the album documents their remarkably adventurous musicianship and tight interplay\, it also manages to capture their extraordinary relationship with their fans\, an essential ingredient in the magic of any Wood Brothers concert. We certainly draw from a lot of the same roots\, and they’ve always been an inspiration. Their music reminds us to be ourselves.” \n  \nAbout Nicki Bluhm \nCalifornia native Nicki Bluhm is a singer\, songwriter and performer. In 2008 Bluhm released her first album\, Toby’s Song and with its release put together her band The Gramblers. Nicki went on to release her second effort Driftwood (2012) establishing her and the band as a nationally touring act. While playing shows around the country she and the band decided to pass the time and long drives filming what became their viral “Van Sessions” covering nostalgic songs of their past. In the aftermath\, Bluhm and The Gramblers became headliners\, touring constantly throughout North America\, including festivals like Bonnaroo\, Outside Lands\, Newport Folk and Telluride Bluegrass. \nThe band continued to record and put out two albums including their self titled Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers (2013) and their most recent effort Loved Wild Lost (2015)\, launching them on an extended US tour and their debut European tour. The Chicago Tribune wrote “Nicki has filled a void in music with her brand of vintage-tinged rocking country soul – music that’s like an enchanting friend you’ve known for a short while\, but feels like you’ve known forever.” \nAt the completion of their 2016 Loved Wild Lost tour\, Nicki was asked to join the The Infamous Stringdusters in support of their album Ladies and Gentlemen. That project led to a collaboration with Ryan Adams at Telluride Bluegrass\, Newport Folk and on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show. Nicki has also had the honor of singing as a featured vocalist with musicians including Warren Haynes and Gov’t Mule\, Karl Denson\, Boz Scaggs\, Anders Osborne\, Bonnie Raitt\, Phil Lesh\, Jackie Green\, and many others. \nIn early 2017\, Nicki wrote a song called “Remember Love Wins”. She recorded and released it\, with an accompanying video\, in a seven-day burst of creative energy. It received a nod from Rolling Stone saying: “‘Remember Love Wins’\, like Pete Seeger singing ‘We Shall Overcome\,’ hits not just on the struggle ahead\, but our ability to eventually come out on the right side of history.” Also in 2017\, Nicki was also the voice of “Sarah” on the tender duet “No Wrong Way Home” in the short animated film Pearl\, which was nominated for an Oscar.  \nThe future holds new songs\, a new album and new shows. With no set release date yet\, you can look forward to catching an early glimpse of new material with Nicki and an acoustic guitar in venues across the country in early 2018.

You know what I like.”“It talks about how sometimes you have negative voices in your head\, but then you find that person who makes them go away\,” she says. “That’s totally happening in my relationship.”For “Crazy Love\,” they teamed up with a longtime inspiration\, OneRepublic’s RyanTedder\,to make a love song about “what it feels like to be in the crazy exciting love where you get to dance together and do things you see in the movies.”The arena-size drums of “Future Me” propel the equivalent of the grade school exercise of writing a letter to your future self.“Everyone Cries” tackles the craziness of the world head-on.At the heart of the record\, ECHOSMITH cling to the message that drove them from the start which is their mission statement “to spread hope and love through music to the whole world.”“Music is one ofthe few things that can unite people\,” concludes Noah. “We hope that’s something we can be a part of.”“We’ve really gotten to understand the depth of that mission statement\,” Sydney leaves off. “We were so blessed for ‘Cool Kids’ to blow up and see theworld. DESCRIPTION:“It’s okay to play\,” insists Nicholas Petricca\, lead singer\, songwriter\, and keyboardist of Ohio quartet Walk the Moon. It’s a hard point to argue after a listen to the lead single off their album I Want! I Want!\, dance-rock extravaganza “Anna Sun.” I Want! I Want! has you dancing quick. Very quick. So it is no surprise that the response to the band has been just as immediate. Surrounding a reactive SXSW appearance\, the band has already been featured as Nylon Magazine’s Band Crush\, as a Hot New Band by SPIN Magazine\, as a New York Post band “You Must Know\,” and in the Spotlight of Last Call with Carson Daly. Walk the Moon is poised for an explosive rise. \nWalk the Moon shows are nothing short of electric. Petricca\, with bassist Kevin Ray\, guitarist Eli Maiman and drummer Sean Waugaman\, (all Ohio natives) streak\, dot and smear their faces in paint before every performance. Eager crowds predictably join in the fun and by the end\, even the most staunch skeptics are in the colorful mix. Respected regulars in the Cincinnati and Columbus club scenes\, the boys\, all in their early twenties\, have garnered notable respect from fans and bands alike in their first few ventures to major markets. Walk the Moon combine impressive musicianship with what the New York Post deems their “unrestrainable love for performing.” It is a truly contagious mix.  \nMatching what NME’s Jaimie Hodgson called “air strike choruses” with careful songwriting\, Walk the Moon are dynamic – noticeably more than a “buzz band.” They cite Talking Heads\, The Police and The Killers as inspiration\, both in writing and performing\, not to mention a tribute to Bowie with a thumping rendition of “Let’s Dance.” I Want!
