Growing up listening to everything from Hank Williams to Johnny Paycheck led him to fall in love with the soulful stories behind country music. The young artist quickly used these influences to find his fit in the genre. Read started performing in choirs and local bands at a young age\, and at age 22 he began performing locally as a solo artist. Overnight it seemed\, he had a dedicated fan base in his home state. As he continued to grow as an artist\, Read began writing in between performances. Putting personal experiences to paper came naturally\, “I really enjoy writing music simply because I believe I can connect with people… Words can’t describe the high you feel when someone says your music has gotten them through something. That alone is a greater honor than any dollar compensation\,” says Southall. Read wrote\, recorded\, and independently released his first album\, Six String Sorrow\, in 2015 and recently released Borrowed Time with his band. With overdriven guitars and heavy drums\, the Read Southall Band aims to deliver a rock and roll experience at every show. \nAbout Tyler Lance Walker Gill: \nListen | Watch Video \nTyler Lance Walker Gill is a country singer/songwriter from Bullitt County\, KY. Gill spent the Saturday nights of his childhood in a country music jamboree in Mt. Washington\, KY\, where his mother sang country classics with the house band. That’s when the honky tonk seed was planted deep in his brain\, almost certainly ruining his life forever. \nWay back in the year 2015\, Gill decided to try his hand at writing his own songs in the style of all his outlaw country heroes. Tyler has performed to sold out audiences with well-known artists\, including Jim James and Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket\, Craig Pfunder of VHS or Beta\, Joan Shelley\, and Ben Sollee. He has opened for artists such as Shovels & Rope\, Mike & The Moonpies\, and even weirdos like Marc Rebillet. \nGill is currently in the post production phase of his first studio album. The twelve song record\, recorded at La La Land\, features a number of the region’s best musicians including Will Oldham (aka Bonnie “Prince” Billy) and 10-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year and Grammy nominated Michael Cleveland — with release date planned for early 2020. Tyler’s band\, the Wolfm’n features Chris Rodahaffer\, Jake Groves\, Sean Jennings\, Billy Lease\, and Christo Foros. \nGill is a talented singer and writer. However\, he won’t win the Pulitzer for poetry any time soon. Tyler writes drinkin’ songs for drinkin’ people. TLWG may not be the next Prine\, but he may be the next Gary Stewart. \nIf these were different times\, perhaps TLWG would already have a slew of hits all over the radio. Unfortunately\, the radio doesn’t play country music anymore. On the bright side\, who needs the radio now? Audiences are begging for authentic country music. That’s what Tyler Lance Walker Gill does\, and he will do so until it kills him. \nAbout Chris Jones & The Flycatchers: \nListen | Watch Video\n\nA little bit Rock N’ Roll\, a little bit Americana\, and a whole lot of damn good singer/songwriter material. Chris Jones and The Flycatchers are a fairly new band that has just begun to hit its stride both on stage and in the studio. Songs For Red\, the powerful debut album\, is comprised of ten tracks that will connect to a wide audience of music lovers. Lyrically\, Chris explores many aspects of life and tells stories that can be visualized with greater depth through the accompanying instrumentation.

These elements are readily apparent in the band’s debut track\, “Masks.” Having initially gained momentum via Spotify\, the song has helped spur the band forward in their musical pursuits. \nThe group’s first year as a full band was widely successful. From charting on Spotify’s US and Canada Viral 50 Playlists\, performing at the NAMM shows in both Nashville and Anaheim\, and selling out shows in Atlanta\, Birmingham\, Huntsville\, Nashville\, Auburn and more\, the band has had an exhilarating start. \nOriginally an acoustic duo\, Alec and Joseph started turning heads in local venues with clean vocals and expert guitar work.
